Crystal scene - "Thru the Moebius Strip"

This giant crystal appeared in the feature film "Thru the Moebius Strip," the first animated CG feature film produced in China. The concept design was by Jean Giraud Moebius, and I created the look and feel - as well as the lighting, shading, texturing and compositing for each shot in the sequence.

As you can see, I loved art directing this talented and enthusiastic crew.
